For over nine years, we’ve worked side by side with the SEN community, and since the Covid lockdowns, we’ve built a thriving, inclusive space for Home-Ed families — starting with outdoor sessions and growing into something far bigger than a club.
Empower Martial Arts has become a lifeline for many, and now we’re inviting sponsors to help us take that impact even further.
Your sponsorship doesn’t just keep the lights on — it lights the way.
It helps us reach more families, support more students, and build a legacy of empowerment that lasts far beyond the mats.
Each initiative below offers a unique way to make a difference.
Choose the one that speaks to you — and let’s build something powerful together.
💬 What Is Empower Martial Arts?
Empower Martial Arts is more than a club — it’s a movement.
We specialise in inclusive coaching for children and adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN), support Home-Educated families, and create safe, empowering spaces for all, But we want to go further which we can only do with Funding and once we have our own permanent place.
We believe martial arts can transform lives — building confidence, resilience, and community.
Your sponsorship helps make that transformation accessible to everyone.

2. Disadvantaged Students Fund:
Provides training access for students who face financial barriers
— a scholarship-style uplift that ensures no child is left behind due to circumstance.
This fund opens the door to empowerment, inclusion, and long-term impact.
Sponsor a Student = Change a Life.
Empowering inclusion. Supporting SEN & Home-Ed families. Building a community legacy.
This fund provides direct support to children and families facing financial barriers to martial arts training — including:
• Students from low-income households
• Families navigating hardship, crisis, or care
• Young people in transitional housing or foster care
• Those unable to afford tuition, equipment, or grading fees
No child should be left behind due to financial hardship. This fund turns inclusion from intention into infrastructure — ensuring every student has the chance to build confidence, resilience, and community
Each bursary funds:
1 New student:
• Student joining fee
• One session per week for 3 months
• One grading (test + belt + certificate)
2: an existing student in temporary financial need to continue training for 3 months.
3: Additional bursaries available will support members who struggle to afford the club uniform, sparring gear, or weapons kits.
Sponsors can fund one or multiple bursaries — and we always prioritise new students and those facing urgent need first.
We assess applications weekly with fairness and compassion.
Priority is given to:
• New students facing financial hardship
• Existing students whose families encounter unexpected difficulties
• Families in crisis or transition
• Students from disadvantaged backgrounds
Bursaries are renewed based on attendance, effort, and respectful engagement. Basic evidence of financial difficulty is requested to ensure funds are matched to genuine need.
Your impact is personal and visible:
• A thank-you message from the student or family (named or anonymous)
• Optional invitation to present the student’s first belt and certificate
• Digital recognition for remote sponsors (logo on grading photo)
Every bursary sponsor receives meaningful visibility and legacy-grade recognition across our club platforms and community channels. Whether you fund one student or multiple bursaries, your contribution is celebrated with care and clarity.
Social Media Recognition | A public thank-you post on our club’s Facebook page, featuring a message from the student or family (named or anonymous). |
Grading Visibility | If the student completes their first grading and the family agrees, the sponsor may be invited to present the belt and certificate in person. |
Digital Presentation | If the sponsor cannot attend in person, we’ll add their logo to the grading photo before sharing it online. |
